![]() ![]() ![]() In the biography section of the book, Sonya realized that Kathleen was from Saskatchewan. She wavered for some time, but she was propelled by a telephone conversation she had with an author named Kathleen Grissom, author of “The Kitchen House”. ![]() ![]() While Sonya was in the very beginnings of coming up with the story that later became “The Matchmaker’s List”, she began rethinking her career path. It inspired her and she began making more time to write. She met people from all around the world and had all kinds of new experiences that opened her eyes. Living in New York for a bit, after living in Saskatoon her entire life. Sonya had stopped writing altogether when she began studying and working in law, and for a bit she even quit reading for pleasure. She lives with her husband in the city of Toronto and works as a journalist at a legal magazine in London. Sonya enjoys to travel, piano practice yoga, reading, and cook, and she has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She finished an MA in Creative Writing and Publishing at City, University of London in the year 2015. She studied law at Columbia University and in her hometown of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Sonya Lalli is a writer of Indian heritage. ![]()
